Welcome to St Justin’s Catholic Parish Primary School, Oran Park, NSW, Australia. St Justin’s is a K-6 co-educational Catholic primary school that caters for girls and boys from Kindergarten to Year 6.
As one of the newest Catholic primary schools in the Diocese of Wollongong, the school exists within the Parish of St Mary MacKillop Oran Park and shares a common site with both the parish and St Benedict’s College. Read more About Us.
The first intake of students to St Justin’s began as an additional Kindergarten cohort of the school community of St Paul’s Camden in 2010, with students housed in temporary facilities on the site of St Paul’s.
In 2012, with eight class groupings, St Justin’s assumed its own identity under the leadership of the foundation Principal Mr John Milgate. The school commenced at the current permanent site at Oran Park in 2013. Meet our staff.
Within a few short years the school reached its current enrolment capacity of approximately 830 students across 28 mainstream class groupings and 3 specialist support classes. See more about our Learning and Teaching.
The school community has established a unique relationship with the Parish of St Mary MacKillop since the inception of the parish in 2016. The strong partnership between school and parish is reflected in a common purpose for the school and parish, where together we strive to form disciples who joyfully live out the mission of Jesus Christ. The school library was the original site for weekend Holy Mass until the current Southern Mass Centre was constructed in 2017. Explore our Catholic Identity and Parish.
The school has employed a highly competent and dedicated workforce of over 70 teaching staff, admin staff and classroom-based support staff to meet the needs of the students in our care. The staff display their commitment to the profession by continually working in collaboration with colleagues to achieve educational excellence by employing pedagogies which reflect the needs of the children and the world in which they live.
In my association with the school since being appointed to the role of Principal in 2018, I have found the school to be a highly effective organisation, with a clear focus on improving academic achievement and wellbeing for all students.
